About the Class

What is Acrobatic Arts?

It is a unique blend of dance and gymnastic disciplines, that allows dancers to move from stunning acrobatic type movements, into traditional steps and elements that make up many styles of dance. The Acrobatic Arts program is designed to teach students a complete understanding of AcroDance and is based on the five divisions:

  • Flexibility

  • Strength

  • Balancing

  • Limbering

  • Tumbling

Simply put, this program includes drills to build strength, flexibility, balance and improve cardio as well as working on key Acrobatic and dance elements such as, bridges, handstands, splits, scorpions, needles, chin stands, aerials and more! The syllabus is currently based on 350 skills across 12 levels is constantly being updated. Why is this approach so important? It ensures that each dancer is undergoing the physical conditioning that allows them to undertake all these complex acrobatic moves. This program also ensures the dancer is growing in confidence and it also reduces the risk of injury. By the time they are trying some of across hardest elements, they have worked through countless progressions and know that both mind and body are ready for that next step.

We cannot wait to share this program with you all!

Registration opens December 4!
