Developing strong dancers with
even stronger character.
Serving the Eden Prairie/Chanhassen area for over 40 years, Dance Arts Centre provides an inspiring and positive environment where everyone matters. At DAC, we pride ourselves in a unique approach to dance education, focusing on "Character First."
We believe that when students lay a foundation of perseverance, respect, and teamwork, everything they attempt afterward, including the art of dance, is done with excellence.
It is this philosophy that sets DAC dancers apart and sets them up for success for the rest of their lives.
From your child's first class to their graduation performance, DAC has a class for everyone! We specialize in beginners of all ages and offer training through pre-professional levels. But, DAC is More Than Just Great Dancing! Our dancers go beyond technique to develop inportant life skills, learning to be respectful, confident and conscientious young people who share their gifts and talents with the community.
A program for the more serious dancer that focuses on building strong technique, learning team camaraderie, and improving performance skills.
The competitive team program consists of 12 performing teams, ages pre-k through high school, ranging from intermediate to advanced dancers.
If a dancer missed auditions, we do offer the option to have a private audition/evaluation. Please contact the front desk if this applies.

What Our Dancers & Families Say About Us
Can't say enough about our experience at Dance Arts Centre. The quality of the instruction is amazing and the variety of dance experiences is terrific for those looking to have well-rounded dancers and to receive ample opportunities to experience new things. We also appreciate the level of proactive organization and communication, which makes it a lot easier to be prepared and in the right place at the right time. We wish we joined this dance community earlier!
The studio’s motto is Character First and they follow through on that! Things like recognizing the dancers when they’ve done something well, buddy pairings to give the younger teams someone to look up to and remind the older teams that the Littles are watching, and community events like food drives. We 💜 DAC!
I highly recommend DAC for anyone considering dance for recreation, for competition, and most of all, for fun! I’ve watched my daughter grow in her independence, confidence, and skill with the DAC teachers and teammates guiding and supporting all along the way. She had to be coaxed on stage for her first recital as a three year old, and since then (5+ years later!) we haven’t been able or wanted to get her off. She truly loves being a part of this DAC team!
